Help...what stock?!?!

We're often asked about the best paper stock to print on and we would always say it's best to print on the heaviest stock that will go through your printer!

Generally, people use the auto print function on their printer to print double sided, but if you're finding that your stock is a little to heavy for this, try printing one side first, then manually turn the paper over and load into your paper tray and print the second side. Your printer will find it much easier to not have to automatically turn a heavier weight of paper, therefore hopefully avoiding jamming issues.

Using a heavier weight of paper as opposed to normal copy paper will also reduce bleed through of the colour on the other side of the paper.

As far as stock texture goes, it’s really up to you!! We like to use a heavy-weight textured stock, but that aspect is really down to personal preference. You may even like to try printing on a nice gold or silver stock to add even more bling!!

So you may have to do some experimenting with different stock weights/textures and see what your printer can handle.

The world’s your oyster – go and have fun!
